Brown and ochre tones, plus indigo, green, olive and ivory, in this beautiful hand stenciled bingata. Creamy ivory (not white) outlines around Japanese flowers, leaves and symbols. Medium drape, slightly heavier than many kimono silks but still light, with a dry hand, pebbly texture and no shine.  On the back, the print is not as crisp or strong, but many of the dyes have soaked through somewhat.  Vintage kimono silk in perfect condition from its former life as a kimono.
